Steven Lawson, who was on trial for conspiracy to murder and tampering with physical evidence in the disappearance of Crystal Rogers, was found guilty after a couple hours of deliberation on Friday.<\/p>\n
The jury has recommended 17 years total. The jail time is recommended to run concurrently, with 17 years recommended for conspiracy to commit murder and five years recommended for tampering with evidence.<\/p>\n
When polled, all members of the jury agreed with the sentence.<\/p>\n
A final sentencing hearing will be held in Nelson County Court on August 6 at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n
The trial for the other two suspects, Brooks Houck and Joseph Lawson, is scheduled to begin on June 24, 2025 in Bowling Green.
