\nTwo teenagers were shot in the Phoenix Hill and Parkland neighborhoods.<\/p>\n

On Friday, June 13, the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 500 block of Marshall Street at around 7 p.m..<\/p>\n

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a teenager with multiple gunshot wounds and began first aid until EMS and Louisville Fire Department arrived. EMS took the victim to UofL Hospital, where they are expected to recover.<\/p>\n

Shortly after the initial call, a second report was made of a shooting in the 800 block of South 28th Street.<\/p>\n

At the scene, officers found another teenage victim with a gunshot wound in the leg.<\/p>\n

Both victims were alert and are currently undergoing medical care.<\/p>\n

Detectives are still unsure of what led to the shootings and what the motive could be. The shootings are believed to be related at this time and there are no known suspects.<\/p>\n
