\nA man facing murder charges after a bar fight turned deadly Sunday morning was in court Monday morning.<\/p>\n

Louisville Police responded to a call of a fight at Corner Tavern on Mount Washington Road around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, June 22. A man who was injured in the altercation was taken to UofL Hospital where he later died.<\/p>\n
Louisville Metro Police arrested 29 year-old Christopher Foley around 11 p.m. Sunday and he appeared before a judge Monday and plead not guilty.<\/p>\n
According to the arrest citation, witnesses said Foley and the other man were outside the bar and Foley hit him multiple times, saying he owed him money.<\/p>\n
The report goes on to say video nearby showed Foley throw the victim, Douglas Holliger, to the ground. Holliger was taken to the hospital and died late Sunday afternoon<\/p>\n
The owner of that bar says she didn\u2019t know either of the people involved, but felt terribly about the situation.<\/p>\n
The judge issued him a $250,000 bond, plus home incarceration if he posted that bond. The judge also issued a no-contact order for the man\u2019s family and Corner Tavern.<\/p>\n
Foley will be back in court July 1.
