\nA man has been jailed on a several of charges following a house fire in Logan County.<\/p>\n
Around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, the Logan County Sheriff\u2019s Office and the Russellville Rural Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 199 Hancock Lake Road, according to a release.<\/p>\n
The sheriff\u2019s office said through investigation, they found that 58 year-old Rodney Belcher of Russellville used a torch to intentionally ignite fires in multiple locations within the home. Two individuals were inside the home at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n
Deputies said they later located Belcher at his home and arrested him without further incident. He was lodged in the Logan County Detention Center on the following charges:<\/p>\n
First-degree arson
\nAttempted murder, two counts
\nCriminal mischief
\nWanton endangerment
\nDrug-related offenses
\nJail records indicate Belcher is being held on a $250,000 cash bond.<\/p>\n
He is set to appear in court on Monday, June 30 at 1 p.m.
