The fire at Glenn Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on Highway 146 in Crestwood caused extensive damage to the business. <\/p>\n
On Thursday, the Oldham County Fire Marshall’s office said it had completed its investigation into the fire’s cause.<\/p>\n
Using video footage from inside the building, investigators determined the fire started on a workbench in the service area and was not intentionally set. <\/p>\n
No one was inside the service center when the fire began, and there hadn’t been anyone there for at least 15 hours prior.<\/p>\n
Several fire departments assisted in putting out the large fire, with one firefighter being treated for a heat-related condition.<\/p>\n
Any further investigation will be conducted by the business’ insurance investigator, officials added.<\/p>\n
In a social media post, the dealership called the fire a “setback,” but promised to be back in service soon.
