\nA man is behind bars in connection with a deadly shooting at Martin Auto Mart on June 25, while police continue to search for the shooter.<\/p>\n

According to a criminal complaint, 42 year-old Darris Allen of Bowling Green is charged with the murder by complicity of Robert Dark. Police said Allen was a business partner with Dark at a local restaurant that recently closed.<\/p>\n

According to the report, an unidentified caller had talked to Dark on the phone around 11:30 a.m. About one hour later, police received a call regarding the shooting, that caller stating Dark was slumped over in his office chair with a visible gunshot wound in his arm.<\/p>\n

EMS attempted life-saving measures but was unsuccessful. The court record stated Dark suffered from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body, according to the medical examiner.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement then conducted a thorough investigation. Witnesses heard eight gunshots before a man walked out of the business. By reviewing surveillance footage from a business next door, they saw an unidentified man walking into and out of Martin Auto Mart around the time of the shooting.<\/p>\n

Police also investigated a Cadillac scene in surveillance video a short walk away from Martin Auto Mart. They learned it was owned by a relative of Allen\u2019s. Through more video footage review and combing of evidence, police determined Allen was the driver of the Cadillac.<\/p>\n

Allen is currently in the Warren County Regional Jail on a $500,000 bond.<\/p>\n

Ronnie Ward, Public Information Officer for Bowling Green Police Department, said they are still looking for the man seen in surveillance video entering and exiting the business at the time of the shooting.
