The Commonwealth\u2019s Attorney\u2019s Office announced the indictment on dozens of sex crime related charges against Donnie Stoner, Ronnie Stoner, and Zachary Kilgore on Friday, July 18, 2025.<\/p>\n
Donnie Stoner and Ronnie Stoner are twin brothers. Donnie was a former Manual High School head football coach, and Ronnie was a Fern Creek offensive coordinator in 2017.<\/p>\n
Donnie Stoner is facing several charges, including 14 counts of sodomy, 10 counts of rape, 8 counts of sexual abuse, and 2 counts of unlawful transaction with a minor.<\/p>\n
Back in July of 2023, claims surfaced that he sexually abused a female student. The student, who was 17 years old at the time, told Louisville Metro Police that Stoner picked her up, drove her to his house, and sexually assaulted her.<\/p>\n
Ronnie Stoner is facing similar charges, including unlawful transaction with a minor, sexual abuse, rape, sodomy, and incest.<\/p>\n
Kilgore is facing one count of complicity to rape.<\/p>\n
Prior to this charge, Kilgore took a plea deal in November of 2009 in connection to the murder of a mother and her son in Shively.<\/p>\n
The indictment alleges that both Stoners\u2019 illegal activities took place between May, 2005 and July, 13, 2023. Kilgore\u2019s rape charge stems from an alleged incident involving all three men between March 1 and May 8 in 2007.<\/p>\n
The Commonwealth says many of the alleged victims were younger than 16 or 18 at the time. The indictment names at least four different victims.
