\nA 22 year-old army cadet has died while attending Cadet Summer Training at Fort Knox.<\/p>\n
\nA 22 year-old army cadet has died while attending Cadet Summer Training at Fort Knox.<\/p>\n
Cadet Neil Edara from Ridgewood, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, July 24, at Fort Knox\u2019s Land Navigation site in Kentucky.<\/p>\n
According to the U.S. Army Cadet Command, Edara became unresponsive while conducting Land Navigation Training.<\/p>\n
He was medically evacuated by helicopter to UofL Hospital, where he was declared dead.<\/p>\n
The official cause of death is still under investigation.<\/p>\n
A private memorial for Edara is planned for cadets attending Cadet Summer Training on Monday, July 28.
