\nA Bowling Green man is facing various charges after a traffic stop on Monday in Warren County.<\/p>\n
Detectives with the Bowling Green – Warren County Drug Task Force received information about 32-year-old David Aaron Gerchikov of Bowling Green being involved in illegal drug trafficking.<\/p>\n
Following surveillance and a subsequent traffic stop conducted by the Kentucky State Police Interdiction Unit. During the stop, a Bowling Green Police Department K-9 unit alerted to the presence of illegal drugs in the vehicle.<\/p>\n
A search of the vehicle revealed 18 grams of Ketamine\u2014commonly referred to as a \u201cdate rape drug\u201d\u2014200 vape cartridges (two grams each) containing 90% THC, and one pound of high-grade marijuana.<\/p>\n
Gerchikov was charged with the following:<\/p>\n
Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree, (Ketamine) Class D Felony
\nTrafficking in Marijuana over 8 oz. to 5 Pounds, Class D felony (Gun Enhancement)
\nDisregarding a Stop Sign
\nFailure to or Improper Signal<\/p>\n
He was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail pending arraignment in Warren District Court.
