\nA Munfordville man is facing several charges after allegedly threatening a police officer during a Barren County traffic stop.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, July 30, Glasgow police pulled over 45 year-old Michael House on East Cherry Street after observing him driving on a suspended license, according to Major Terry Flatt.<\/p>\n
Flatt said methamphetamine and a loaded syringe were located in House\u2019s pants pocket. He also allegedly resisted arrest, spitting on an officer and threatening to kill him.<\/p>\n
House was arrested and charged with the following, in addition to various traffic offenses:<\/p>\n
Driving on DUI suspended license
\nResisting arrest
\nThird-degree assault (bodily fluid)
\nThird-degree assault of police or probation officer
\nFirst-degree possession a controlled substance (methamphetamine)
\nPossession of drug paraphernalia
\nTerroristic threatening
\nWanton endangerment of a police officer
\nOperating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense)<\/p>\n
House is now lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.
