Investigators reported that 59-year-old Mary E. Haynes was driving a white 2012 Cadillac SRX northbound. The vehicle swerved and crossed into the southbound lane, and crashed into a ditch.<\/p>\n
The Cadillac vehicle swerved, overturned, and collided head-on with a deep culvert before resting on its roof. At the time, Haynes was not wearing a seatbelt. She was later reported deceased at the scene by Deputy Coroner Joe Brad Hudson.<\/p>\n
Sheriff Chaffins was assisted at the scene by the Leitchfield Volunteer Fire Department and Grayson County EMS.
