Bryan J. Spencer, 26, was arrested and charged with several crimes, including first-degree criminal mischief, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, third-degree fleeing or evading police and driving on a DUI-suspended license.<\/p>\n
Multiple complaints came in to police about a truck that had hit a vehicle in the 1200 block of Kentucky Street. While officers were on the way to the scene, a person reported that his truck was rear-ended while at a traffic light at East 12th Avenue and Kentucky Street.<\/p>\n
The truck left the scene and headed toward Center Street. It was missing its front passenger tire and was later located at the intersection of Center Street and East 12th Avenue, where the driver disregarded a stop sign and hit a curb.<\/p>\n
An officer saw Spencer stumble out of the driver\u2019s side of the truck. He fled on foot toward East 12th Avenue and College Street.<\/p>\n
Police found Spencer\u2019s phone, displaying GPS directions to his home, and a bag of suspected marijuana inside the truck. He had the truck keys when officers caught up with him.<\/p>\n
When speaking with police, Spencer said he was in the truck but someone else was driving. He was only able to provide police with a last name for the person. No additional details about that person were found in police records.<\/p>\n
Spencer is being held in the Warren County Regional Jain under a $15,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on September 26.
