developments in the investigation involving years of alleged child abuse at Ohio County boarding school, Pilgrim\u2019s Rest.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Court officials say charges have been dismissed against Amanda, Christina, Johnathan and Joshua Vanderkooi.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the charges were dismissed against Kelly Vanderkooi after he pleaded guilty to an amended charge of Wanton Endangerment, a Class A misdemeanor, and was sentenced to probation.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation began in 2023 when former students spoke up about alleged physical and mental abuse they say they endured at the
