According to Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Levi Jones was arrested in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday, September 30.<\/p>\n
Davidson County, Tennessee jail records show Jones is being held on a $100,000 bond. <\/p>\n
Jones is the fourth person to be arrested and charged in the murder of 58-year-old Tim Ethington.<\/p>\n
Last month, authorities said 23 year-old Jeremiah James of Louisville and 21 year-old Madison Greenwell of Shelbyville, were arrested in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. <\/p>\n
Rodney Isgrigg, 21, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, was arrested in Louisville and also charged with murder. <\/p>\n
Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said Greenwell and Isgrigg are now in the Shelby County Jail, and James and Jones are awaiting extradition to Kentucky.<\/p>\n
Around 5:10 p.m. August 21, 2025, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a person who had been found unresponsive in the Spring Oaks Estates neighborhood.<\/p>\n
When deputies arrived, they found Ethington dead inside his residence.<\/p>\n
Shelby County Sheriff said this investigation is still ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call Cpt. Blake Lisby or Det. Kyle Washburn at 502-633-4324.
