\nA Louisville man was killed Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Muldraugh.<\/p>\n

The Kentucky State Police, Elizabethtown Post, was contacted just before 6 a.m. October 19, 2025, in reference to a vehicle striking a pedestrian on Dixie Highway in Meade County.<\/p>\n
The initial investigation indicates a Nissan sedan, operated by 24 year-old Jordan Sanborn of Louisville, was traveling north on Dixie Highway and struck a pedestrian.<\/p>\n
As a result of the collision, the pedestrian, 34 year-old Troy Jackson of Louisville, was fatally injured and pronounced deceased by the Meade County Coroners Office.<\/p>\n
Jordan Sanborn was transported to Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown with minor injuries.<\/p>\n
Kentucky State Police was assisted on scene by Meade County Fire, Meade County EMS, and Meade County Coroner’s Office.<\/p>\n
The collision remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
