\nAn 18-year-old McDonald’s employee was arrested in Louisville early Thursday morning for allegedly pointing a gun at customers. <\/p>\n
Police were called around 1:30 a.m. to the McDonald’s at 301 University Boulevard, off of S. Floyd Street. That is where a group of three victims told officers they were in the process of ordering food and “admitted to being a little loud.” The employee, Gregory White, then pulled out a gun, “racks the slide” and pointed it at the group, according to the arrest report. <\/p>\n
Louisville Police said White “pulled away and took a swing” with a closed fist at one of the officers before he was taken to the ground, where he continued to resist, briefly placing an officer in a headlock. The officer suffered minor lacerations to his arms. <\/p>\n
Police did not find a gun on White, but he later admitted that he handed the gun to someone else who was no longer at the scene. <\/p>\n
Police also said White admitted to racking the slide of the gun, but said he didn’t point it at anyone, but a witness at the scene stated that he did. <\/p>\n
White was booked into Louisville Metro Corrections around 2:15 a.m. and charged with Assault Police Officer, Wanton Endangerment and Tampering With Physical Evidence. He is expected in arraignment court on October 31.
