\nA Hardin County couple is facing murder charges after allegedly throwing a man over second-story apartment balcony.<\/p>\n
According to court documents, on November 13 a witness told officers she saw Nancy and Shawn Durbin drag a man from the front of the apartment and throw him over a second-story balcony handrail.<\/p>\n
When Elizabethtown Police arrived on scene, they found a man with severe blunt force trauma to the face, directly below their apartment.<\/p>\n
Nancy Durbin denied any involvement during an interview with Elizabethtown police.<\/p>\n
Police said it was an 11-foot-6-inch fall to the concrete pad from the balcony.<\/p>\n
The victim, identified by officials as 62-year-old Bobby Pennington, was unresponsive and taken to the hospital in critical condition where he later died.<\/p>\n
The Durbins were indicted on November 20 for murder and Shawn Durbin is facing additional charges of assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.<\/p>\n
Each is being in the Hardin County Detention Center held on a $500,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in court December 9.
