Michael Wehdah Sr., 44, was found shot to death in the 2700 block of Cedar Street on February 16, 2025. Wehdah had completed his training and joined Louisville Metro Department of Corrections just three months prior, in November of 2024.<\/p>\n
As of March of this year, Louisville Metro Police Department had announced two arrests in connection with the case: 36 year-old former Louisville Metro Police Department officer Anthony Trabue and 45 year-old Kristy Brumley.<\/p>\n
On December 17, 2025, Louisville Metro Police Department stated that 40-year-old Brian Ramsey was taken into custody as the third person charged for their involvement in the homicide.<\/p>\n
Ramsey is being charged with complicity to murder and complicity to robbery. His is being held in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections under a $500,000 cash bond.
