125px) 100vw, 125px\" \/><br \/>\nOwensboro Police Department officials say a woman is in jail after detectives were notified that a 6-week-old infant had been hospitalized with multiple injuries.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>According to a press release, detectives immediately began an investigation and both parents were transported to the Owensboro Police Department for questioning.<\/p>\n<p>During the investigation, the child\u2019s mother, later identified as 24-year-old Rachel Basham, admitted to intentionally inflicting harm on the infant, resulting in internal injuries and multiple broken bones.<\/p>\n<p>Basham has been charged with Criminal Abuse in the First Degree (Child 12 or Under).<\/p>\n<p>Officials say the infant remains under medical care and is
