\nThe Louisville Metro Police Department has announced the arrest of a man accused of shooting one woman and then breaking the jaw of another at a Jacob\u2019s neighborhood apartment.<\/p>\n

The incident happened on December 26. Court documents claim 45 year-old Rondrell Cox arrived uninvited at the apartment with the two women inside. Both women told him to go away and pushed him away from the residence when he allegedly pulled out a gun, shot one woman and hit the other in the face with the firearm.<\/p>\n
Both women were taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n
Louisville Metro Police Department said they arrested Cox in connection to the shooting on January 3. Cox is lodged in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections and charged with assault-domestic violence, second-degree assault and possession of a gun as a convicted felon.<\/p>\n
Cox is expected in court for arraignment on Monday, January 5.
