\nA Logan County man is facing more than 100 criminal charges following a sexual assault investigation.<\/p>\n

David T. Scheitlin, 44, of Auburn, is charged with 150 counts of first-degree rape and one count of third-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.<\/p>\n

According to a complaint warrant obtained from the Logan County Circuit Clerk\u2019s Office, the Logan County Sheriff\u2019s Office investigated alleged crimes spanning from July 1, 2022, to January 1, 2026.<\/p>\n

Investigators allege Scheitlin sexually assaulted a juvenile over several years. The investigation began after the child reported the abuse to a parent. Scheitlin was arrested January 19, 2026.<\/p>\n

Authorities also allege Scheitlin provided alcohol, specifically Fireball whiskey, to the juvenile and other minors.<\/p>\n

Scheitlin remains lodged in the Logan County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in court January 22.
