LG&#038;E, the balloons came into contact with power lines, causing the outage.<\/p>\n<p>LG&#038;E is asking customers to refrain from releasing balloons to avoid further outages.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFoil balloons conduct electricity and can cause power outages, fires, and injuries if they come into contact with power lines,\u201d the company posted on its social media.<\/p>\n<p>Power was restored to
