\nKentucky State Police is investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened in Frankfort just before 6 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n

Kentucky State Police said Frankfort Police officers and Franklin County Sheriff\u2019s Office deputies were responding to a shots fired call at a home on Ridgeview Drive when the shooting happened.<\/p>\n
While at the home, officers encountered 56 year-old Bryan Radford, of Hopkinsville.<\/p>\n
Kentucky State Police said Radford went in the home and came back out with a handgun before officers fatally shot Radford.<\/p>\n
First aid was attempted, but Radford ultimately died from his injuries.<\/p>\n
No officers were injured during the incident.<\/p>\n
This is an ongoing investigation.
