\nTroopers with the Kentucky State Police, Post 16 in Henderson, arrested a Daviess County man on February 16, 2026, following an investigation into allegations involving a juvenile.<\/p>\n
At approximately 7:35 p.m., troopers arrested 40 year-old David A. Rodgers, of Utica, after an investigation revealed he engaged in a sexual relationship with a juvenile through a position of special trust.<\/p>\n
Rodgers was charged with:
\nRape, 3rd Degree
\nSodomy, 2nd Degree \u2013 Position of Authority
\nSexual Abuse, 1st Degree
\nProcuring or Promoting Use of a Minor by Electronic Means
\nPossession of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by a Minor Under 12<\/p>\n
Rodgers was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro. The investigation is on-going by Kentucky State Police detectives.
