\nThe Kentucky State Police Post 4 is investigating a two-vehicle fatal collision that occurred on Saturday, February 28, 2026, just after 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of KY 44 East and Watergate Drive near Mount Washington in Bullitt County.<\/p>\n

The preliminary investigation indicates a Toyota Tacoma, operated by a juvenile, was traveling westbound on KY 44 East when, for unknown reasons, the passenger-side tires dropped off the right side of the roadway onto a steep shoulder. The operator overcorrected, causing the vehicle to cross the centerline into the eastbound lane and into the path of a Ford Escape, operated by 27 year-old Sarah Weisman of Shepherdsville.<\/p>\n

The Toyota Tacoma struck the Ford Escape head-on, causing the Ford to travel down a small embankment and overturn onto its roof, where it came to final rest.<\/p>\n

Sarah Weisman was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Bullitt County Coroner. The juvenile operator of the Toyota Tacoma was not injured.<\/p>\n

Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Shepherdsville Fire Department, Mount Washington Fire Department, and Bullitt County EMS.<\/p>\n

The accident remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
