That began in January 2026 while KU awaited a final decision from the Kentucky Public Service Commission. Regulators later gave approval for a 6.54% increase. Customers will get the compensation in form of credit.<\/p>\n<p>KU said the credit will appear on customers\u2019 bills by April 17, and the amount will depend on how much energy was used during that period.
