\nLouisville Metro Police say officers recovered multiple firearms, \u201cGlock switches\u201d and THC vape pens during a search at a residence tied to an ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n
According to LMPD\u2019s Second Division Impact Unit, officers executed a search warrant at a home that investigators had linked to people suspected of trafficking large amounts of THC vape cartridges and machine\u2011gun conversion devices, often referred to as \u201cGlock switches.\u201d<\/p>\n
Police say the search turned up 16 Glock conversion devices; four firearms, including three 3D\u2011printed, un\u2011serialized guns; 120 THC vape pens; three 3D printers and three related computers; and additional items believed to be connected to firearm and drug trafficking.<\/p>\n
Louisville Metro Police Department reports four people were arrested in connection with the case, including two adults and two juveniles. Their names, ages and specific charges have not yet been released.<\/p>\n
The department says the operation was carried out with assistance from LMPD SWAT, the Bomb Squad, a CID K\u20119 unit, Shively SIU detectives, Shively patrol officers and LMPD patrol officers. No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n
Louisville Metro Police Department says the investigation is ongoing in coordination with local and federal partners.
