\nA Bowling Green man previously charged following allegations from multiple women has had his case dismissed.<\/p>\n
GeMonee Brown was arrested and charged with unlawful imprisonment and three counts of first-degree sexual abuse after a police report indicated 11 women made allegations against him.<\/p>\n
Brown\u2019s attorney, Brian Lowder, said all charges were dropped without going to trial.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll charges were dropped without the necessity of going to trial, which we were prepared and ready to go through,\u201d Lowder said. \u201cSo we\u2019re happy to put that behind Mr. Brown. He\u2019s been a pillar of the community since he came here to play football at WKU years ago. He\u2019s been a successful realtor in the community, served on several boards, and glad to get his reputation back after all this.\u201d<\/p>\n
Brown also addressed the case\u2019s effect on his family.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe biggest thing for me when this started was protecting my name and character and reputation, and not necessarily for myself,\u201d Brown said. \u201cI\u2019ve got two baby girls at home. And that\u2019s what\u2019s most important to me, a wife who I love and supports me. And I just want to say thank you to all the people in the community that continue to support me because unfortunately, in public opinion, you don\u2019t always get innocent until proven guilty. You\u2019re guilty until proven innocent.\u201d
