According to a press release, police responded to River Valley Behavioral Health Children\u2019s Hospital after receiving a call of a physical altercation involving an off-duty Owensboro police officer and a minor.<\/p>\n
Kentucky State Police arrested 39-year-old Christina Butler and charged her with Assault in the 4th Degree (Domestic Violence) \u2013 Minor Injury.<\/p>\n
Butler had previously been arrested back in November of 2025 on the same charges.<\/p>\n
Officials say the department\u2019s Professional Standards Unit will conduct an internal investigation to determine whether any policies or administrative rules were violated.<\/p>\n
They say Kentucky State Police is handling the criminal investigation.
