RiverLink said Perdue Brandon, a collections agency selected by the Joint Board in 2022, will begin sending notices to customers who have four unpaid monthly bills for the same crossing or crossings. RiverLink said drivers can avoid collections by paying any tolls and fees owed.<\/p>\n
RiverLink said drivers can check whether they owe tolls by visiting RiverLink.com and selecting \u201cSee if You Owe.\u201d To look up an account, RiverLink said drivers will need a bill or their vehicle identification number (VIN) and license plate number. The site also includes information about the collections process and frequently asked questions.<\/p>\n
RiverLink said it is also encouraging eligible drivers to enroll in its Fee Forgiveness program before an account moves to collections. RiverLink said the program waives fees and lowers tolls to transponder rates if a customer opens a prepaid account and gets a transponder. Drivers can enroll online while paying tolls by selecting \u201cUpdate to a Personal Transponder Account\u201d. Customer service representatives can also help at walk-up centers in downtown Louisville and Jeffersonville or by phone, according to RiverLink.<\/p>\n
RiverLink said collection notices will be sent gradually. These notices may include unpaid tolls and fees dating back to April 2023, when the transition to the current toll provider began.<\/p>\n
RiverLink said notifications from Perdue Brandon will be sent by text, email and mail, and that customers should follow the payment address and instructions included in the notice.
