The patient base has continued to grow as the program took shape, with eight cultivators, two safety compliance facilities, one processor, and eight dispensaries open for business. On Thursday, April 9, cannabis industry leaders celebrated a significant step forward. The Kentucky Cannabis Industry Association announced that Kentucky patients will begin to see vape cartridges and concentrates available at licensed dispensaries. In the program\u2019s infancy, only cannabis flower was available for purchase until processors were fully operational.<\/p>\n
The product expansion announced on Thursday also includes new gelatin-free gummies, extending access to patients with dietary restrictions or religious practices.
