At approximately 9:30 p.m., troopers arrested 50 year-old Juan Luis Mendez Segovia after an investigation revealed he engaged in a sexual relationship with a juvenile.<\/p>\n
Mendez Segovia was charged with Human Trafficking – Sex Activity (Two counts) and Procuring or Promoting Use of a Minor by Electronic Means (One count)<\/p>\n
Mendez Segovia was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro under a $500,000 cash bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 17. <\/p>\n
The investigation is on-going by Kentucky State Police detectives.
