Investigators say the incident happened June 18, 2025, when the realtor was showing a home to a \u201cwould-be\u201d buyer identified as Keith Rowe. Authorities say Rowe threatened to kill the victim, took the victim\u2019s cellphone under threat of death and assaulted the realtor during the showing. The victim was able to escape and drive to the Grayson County Sheriff\u2019s Office to report what happened.<\/p>\n
Sheriff Norman Chaffins said the events were captured on owner-installed cameras. Rowe pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, third-degree terroristic threatening and fourth-degree assault. He was sentenced to 15 years, including five years of probation and six months of home incarceration. Officials said Rowe is barred from entering Grayson County and is ordered to have no contact with the victim unless directed by the court.
