Shortly before 7:30 a.m., Florence Police responded to a reported road rage incident in the area of Dixie Highway and Industrial Road, according to a news release.<\/p>\n
As officers were responding to the scene, dispatchers updated them that one of the parties had allegedly attempted to shoot the other.<\/p>\n
The incident began near Turkeyfoot Road, where authorities say the two drivers became upset over each other’s driving. The confrontation moved west on Industrial Road into Florence. <\/p>\n
Devin Holston, 31, allegedly shot at the other person near the intersection of Dixie Highway and Industrial Road, according to police.<\/p>\n
Authorities say no one was injured in the incident.<\/p>\n
Holston was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment. He was taken to the Boone County Jail, according to police.
