\nLouisville Metro Police Department officers are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in the 1700 block of Berry Boulevard.<\/p>\n

At approximately 6 a.m., Fourth Division officers responded to a motorcycle club in the 1700 block of Berry Boulevard on reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two adult female victims suffering from non-fatal gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n

In the hours following the incident, four additional adult female victims connected to the incident arrived at UofL Hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n

At this time, the investigation identified a total of five non-fatal shooting victims and one additional injured individual related to the incident.<\/p>\n

LMPD spokesperson Matt Sanders said at least 90 rounds were fired based on shell casings collected by detectives both inside and outside what was described as a \u201clarge\u201d scene. Based on the casings, police believe at least four weapons were used during the shooting.<\/p>\n

Additionally, around the same time, Shively Police responded to a fatal single-vehicle collision in the 3400 block of 7th Street Road involving two deceased occupants. At this stage of the investigation, it is unknown whether the fatal collision is connected to the Berry Boulevard shooting incident.<\/p>\n

There were no obvious gunshot wounds observed on the deceased occupants; however, final determinations will be made following autopsy results. Shively Police are leading the traffic fatality investigation at this time.<\/p>\n
