Court records reveal Moore admitted to being drunk when the crash occurred at the intersection of Dixie Highway and Rockford Lane.<\/p>\n
In his arrest citation, Moore admitted to driving the truck but said \u201cthe accident was not his fault even though he was drunk due to him consuming alcoholic beverages.\u201d<\/p>\n
Shively Police say five people were waiting at the bus stop during the time of the incident.<\/p>\n
One woman, who was waiting for the bus, died at the scene of the crash.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified her as 43-year-old Danielle Cordes.<\/p>\n
Four others were injured in Monday night’s collision, including two women who sustained life-threatening injuries after being hit by Moore’s black Chevy Silverado.<\/p>\n
According to the citation, Moore told responding officers that he drank tequila an hour before the crash. <\/p>\n
One Shively Police officer noted a strong smell of alcohol on his breath and noticed that he was uneasy on his feet and often came close to losing balance and falling over.<\/p>\n
Moore also refused to take a field sobriety test and instead asked officers to take him to jail, according to the citation.<\/p>\n
Court documents show Moore previously pleaded guilty to DUI in 2014. <\/p>\n
He is currently being held at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections, and is expected to appear in court for arraignment on Wednesday, May 27.
