\nTwo people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide Tuesday afternoon in Fern Creek, according to Louisville Metro Police spokesperson, Aaron Ellis.<\/p>\n

The shooting was reported at 3:15 p.m. in the 5600 block of Oxford Court. That is in an apartment complex not far from Bardstown Road and Fern Creek Park.<\/p>\n

Once on the scene, officers found a man and a woman who were shot. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the woman was taken to UofL Hospital, where she died from her injuries.<\/p>\n

Ellis said the Homicide Unit is investigating the incident as a murder-suicide.<\/p>\n
