The Associated Press said it secured a list of hospitals that have either received letters of warning or requests to submit plans to provide pricing information.<\/p>\n
Failure to comply with the warnings comes with fines as high as $2 million annually for facilities that do not create a plan to release clear pricing data, according to AP.<\/p>\n
The eight Kentucky hospitals included in the list are the following:<\/p>\n
Cumberland Hall Hospital
\nEastern State Hospital
\nEncompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview
\nHazard ARH Regional Medical Center
\nMarshall County Hospital
\nPikeville Medical Center
\nSun Behavioral Health
\nUofL Health Jewish Hospital<\/p>\n
Cumberland Hall Hospital, Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview, Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center, Marshall County Hospital and Pikeville Medical Center received warning notices.<\/p>\n
Eastern State Hospital, Sun Behavioral Health and UofL Health Jewish Hospital received Corrective Action Plan requests.
