\nTwo men were shot early Sunday morning after fighting near two popular Bardstown Road bars spilled out into the streets.<\/p>\n

Louisville Metro Police said its Summer Task Force officers were on scene all night and were already present when both shootings occurred.<\/p>\n

The first shooting happened just after 2:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of Bardstown Road. Officers found a 28-year-old man shot in the leg. He is expected to survive following treatment at UofL Hospital.<\/p>\n

A little more than an hour later, around 3:45 a.m., officers found a 29-year-old man shot in the leg in the 1100 block of Bardstown Road. He was also transported to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Louisville Metro Police Department said both shootings happened after fighting began near The Hub and Atomic, two businesses on Bardstown Road just south of Grinstead Drive. In total, police said they arrested 15 people Saturday night, including four juveniles, and seized four guns.<\/p>\n

The arrests occurred between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. with all but two stemming from fighting.<\/p>\n

Police said nine warrants were served, six on one of the people arrested and three on another.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the Louisville Hospitality Association said its working closely with authorities to address the large crowds.<\/p>\n

Police said they don’t have any suspects in either shooting. Anyone with information in these or any other cases is encouraged to call LMPD’s anonymous Crime Tip Line at 502-574-LMPD (5673). Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the department’s online Crime Tip Portal<\/a>.
