\nWith the Kentucky State Fair approaching, organizers are looking to hire workers for hundreds of temporary jobs during the August 20\u201330 event.<\/p>\n
\nWith the Kentucky State Fair approaching, organizers are looking to hire workers for hundreds of temporary jobs during the August 20\u201330 event.<\/p>\n
The fair said openings include gate attendants, event set-up, maintenance, guest services and other roles. Pay starts at $13.50 per hour.<\/p>\n
Applicants can apply online or attend walk-in interviews Tuesday, July 7, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, July 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Interviews will be held at the Kentucky Exposition Center; applicants should enter through Gate 4, park in Lot K and go to the Broadbent Arena Employment Office.<\/p>\n
Applicants should bring a Social Security card, a photo ID and bank routing and account numbers. No experience is required, but applicants must be at least 18 years old, able to stand for long periods indoors or outdoors and able to work around crowds.
