\nAn Elizabethtown man accused of driving drunk in connection to a crash that resulted in the death of his 15-year-old son is now being charged with vehicular manslaughter.<\/p>\n

David Rhodes was arrested on DUI and assault charges on June 27 after a Ford Mustang he was driving was found overturned and partially submerged in a creek off of Bewley Hollow Road in Hardin County.<\/p>\n
Kentucky State Police troopers and local officials entered the creek and rescued three occupants from the vehicle. One of the passengers, 15-year-old Ethan Rhodes, was flown to Norton Children\u2019s Hospital for his injuries and died the next day.<\/p>\n
According to court documents, a charge of vehicular homicide when under the influence of alcohol was added Monday, June 29.
