is facing 35 years in prison for charges related to a double shooting in 2024.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Kevin Powell entered a guilty plea Tuesday on charges of second-degree manslaughter, assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.<\/p>\n<p>He also pleaded guilty to one count of being a first-degree persistent felony offender.<\/p>\n<p>Powell then admitted in court that on November 17, 2024, he shot and killed one and injured another at the Club Cedar bar. <\/p>\n<p>In a press release, Louisville\u2019s Commonwealth attorney said Powell would only be eligible for parole
