According to Louisville Metro Police, 30-year-old Aldwin Jackson has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to render aid with death or serious injury and tampering with physical evidence in the death of Adam Troutman.<\/p>\n
On the night of the incident, Louisville Metro Police Department said officers were called to Vaughn Mill Road and Briscoe Lane at about 11 p.m. on a report of a person down near the intersection.<\/p>\n
Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Anthony Wright determined that 27 year-old Adam Troutman of Louisville was the man who was killed.<\/p>\n
The preliminary investigation revealed Troutman was walking along the right-hand should in a non-lit section of Vaughn Mill Road heading north when he was hit from the back by an unknown vehicle heading that same direction.<\/p>\n
On April 20, Louisville Metro Police Department said detectives are looking for a 2016 or 2017 Chevy Equinox. A Louisville Metro Police traffic detective said the SUV likely has a broken right headlight and damage to the body on the right side.<\/p>\n
Jackson’s is currently being held in Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
