Officials said 55 year-old Dana Steadman was illegally selling drugs out of her storefront at The Hall Connection business and residence on Bon Ayr Road.<\/p>\n
During the search warrant execution, detectives and other personnel seized multiple, alleged, hemp-derived products from the business. Steadman did not have a license to sell these products.<\/p>\n
Detectives said they found more than 8 oz. of cannabis flower material which is suspected to be marijuana and pre-rolled cannabis cigarettes.<\/p>\n
Additionally, several drug paraphernalia items, a digital scale and cash were also seized.<\/p>\n
Detectives said evidence was found that showed Steadman was selling these products after re-packaging inventory purchased out of state to make her own products to re-sell along with seeds containing suspected THC were also being sold. Evidence also showed that some items being sold openly displayed the THC levels in numeric value that exceed the delta-9 THC concentration of 0.3% threshold.<\/p>\n
She is charged with trafficking in marijuana greater than 8 oz. and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a media release from the Barren River Drug Task Force. Steadman was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in court on July 23. Additional charges may be presented at Grand Jury.<\/p>\n
Multiple agencies helped with the arrest including the Cabinet for Health and Family Services for Public Health, Drug and Supplement Branch, Glasgow Police Department, the Barren County Sheriff\u2019s Office, and the ATF.
