Court records show 45 year-old Radee J. Browning is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, and first-degree criminal mischief.<\/p>\n
An arraignment is scheduled for 9 a.m. on July 27.<\/p>\n
According to the court complaint, officers were called to a report of domestic trouble in the 900 block of S. 41st Street and found Browning sitting in a white Mercedes sedan.<\/p>\n
Police say when officers activated emergency lights and ordered him to stop, Browning drove off, nearly striking two police cruisers and driving toward an officer, forcing the officer to move to avoid being hit.<\/p>\n
Officers did not pursue, records state.<\/p>\n
Police say Browning later crashed into a residence in the 600 block of South 41st Street, then ran from the scene and left the vehicle behind. Records say damage to the home was estimated at $2,000, and officers found empty alcohol containers inside the vehicle.<\/p>\n
Police say Browning was later located after calling 911 and appeared to be profoundly under the influence of alcohol.<\/p>\n
Browning\u2019s bond was set at $25,000 cash, with conditions including no contact with the complaining witness\/victim and not operating a motor vehicle.
