\nA Louisville man is facing multiple charges, including first-degree robbery, following a physical confrontation at a Shively retail store over the weekend.<\/p>\n
According to an arrest citation from the Shively Police Department, officers responded to the Family Dollar in the 2501 block of Dixie Highway around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026.<\/p>\n
Store employees reported that 25-year-old Rai\u2019Shaun T. Moore was attempting to leave the store with several bottles of detergent without paying. When an employee intervened and retrieved the items, Moore allegedly grabbed the detergent back, sparking a physical struggle in the store\u2019s vestibule.<\/p>\n
During the confrontation, Moore allegedly drew a firearm and struck the employee in the face with it before fleeing the scene, according to police. Investigators noted that store surveillance footage captured the altercation and showed what appeared to be a firearm.<\/p>\n
While officers were processing the scene, Moore\u2019s fianc\u00e9e reportedly arrived to retrieve a cellphone he had dropped during the struggle. Officers subsequently located Moore nearby at 1800 Park Road, where he was detained. Police reported finding an empty firearm holster in his possession, though no weapon was found.<\/p>\n
Following his arrest, police said Moore became uncooperative at the Shively Police Department, allegedly pulling away from officers, resisting handcuffs, and kicking a patrol vehicle during transport.<\/p>\n
Moore has been charged with first-degree robbery and resisting arrest. He was booked into the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections facility.
