After the first threat was made against a local daycare Thursday, detectives were told a former employee and her husband may be responsible. Deputies locked down the daycare, located the couple nearby and brought them in for questioning.<\/p>\n
The two cooperated and sat through hours of interviews. Detectives released them when they could not connect them to the threats.<\/p>\n
While the interviews were underway, social media users shared the couple\u2019s photos and posted comments calling for their arrest. The sheriff said those posts did not affect how his team conducted the investigation.<\/p>\n
A second threat came in Friday, this time naming Bluegrass Farms Daycare. Deputies again secured the property.<\/p>\n
Detectives traced the threats to a specific cell phone and IP address inside one of the daycares. When investigators interviewed staff, employee 27 year-old Kayla Canler, of Bowling Green, admitted to sending the threats.<\/p>\n
Deputies arrested Canler and booked her into the Warren County Regional Jail, where she remains under a $5,000 cash bond. She is charged with Terroristic Threatening, 2 degree.
