On Thursday, August 6, Shively Police Department announced the arrests of 32-year-old Dolonte Hooper and 31-year-old Terrell Gray in connection with the incident.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, August 18, a third individual was arrested and taken into custody in connection with the killing. Shively police have arrested 20 year-old Kedrick Lamont Guthrie for his alleged association with the crime.<\/p>\n
Guthrie is being charged with:<\/p>\n
Murder (Complicity)
\nAssault 1st Degree
\nAssault 2nd Degree (Two Counts)
\nRobbery 1st Degree<\/p>\n
Officers responded to a shooting at HK Liquors in the 3200 block of Ralph Avenue on Saturday, July 11. At the scene, police found four victims who had been shot, with one dying from their injuries.<\/p>\n
Hooper and Gray are both charged with complicity to murder, with Gray also being charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and illegal gambling at the liquor store on the night of the incident.<\/p>\n
Surveillance cameras captured Gray taking cover under a pool table before he went outside with a gun and fired several shots. The store\u2019s cameras also picked up audio of that gunfire.<\/p>\n
Police also say Gray grabbed some cash during the robbery and noted that the gunmen never pointed their weapons at him.<\/p>\n
HK Liquors\u2019 license was suspended the day after the shooting, and the business is currently appealing the decision.<\/p>\n
Hooper and Guthrie are being held at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections, while Gray is housed in the Oldham County Jail.<\/p>\n
Shively Police Department says the investigation remains ongoing.
