A Louisville Metro Police Department traffic guard sustained minor injuries after being hit by a vehicle Thursday morning near Knight Middle School. At the time, Louisville Metro Police Department said the driver had been detained with charges pending.<\/p>\n
On Friday, Louisville Metro Police Department said 61-year-old Eduardo Velasco has been arrested in connection to this incident on outstanding warrants.<\/p>\n
Velasco has charges including public intoxication, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, but those charges are from a prior incident, not the August 20 accident.
