According to police, Maurice Hopkins arrived and appeared to be intoxicated but refused to leave.<\/p>\n
Police said Hopkins threatened others in the emergency room with scissors before dropping them.<\/p>\n
A Louisville Metro Police officer suffered a 6-inch cut to the arm while officers were trying to take Hopkins into custody, according to police.<\/p>\n
Hopkins appeared in court Friday on multiple charges, including wanton endangerment, resisting arrest and wanton endangerment of a police officer.
